Terms of service

These terms apply to the Hairdressers.io website, the live demo on it, and the Hairdressers.io service. The service is operated under the Hairdressers.io brand, and the contact address for everything below is support@hairdressers.io. By using the site or the service you agree to them.

The demo

The booking page builder on this site is a demonstration. It generates a sample booking page from what you type, including a sample availability pattern that is illustrative and is not any salon's real calendar. Nothing in the demo creates a booking, a listing or an account, and nothing you do in it is saved to a salon record. Do not rely on it as a real reservation.

Signing up on this site

Signing up means giving us an email address and confirming it with a 6-digit code. It is an expression of interest, it costs nothing, and it does not create a paid account or an obligation on either side. We will email you your setup details.

Plans and payment

Published plan prices are per salon and per month, in US dollars, exclusive of any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are. Yearly billing is charged in advance. We do not take a commission on bookings on any plan. If we change our prices we will give existing customers notice before the change applies to them.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time and there is no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops the next renewal; we do not refund part of a period already paid for unless the law where you live requires it. You can export your data before you go, and afterwards on request.

Your data and your clients' data

Your service list, your team, your calendar and your client records remain yours. We process them to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy, and we do not sell them or use them for our own marketing. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your clients' details and for the accuracy of what you publish about your salon, including your prices, your policies and your availability.

Acceptable use

• Do not publish a listing for a business you do not operate or are not authorised to represent.
• Do not upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that is unlawful.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk email.

We may suspend an account that breaches this, and we will tell you why.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. Except where a written service level agreement says otherwise, the service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

Third-party names

Any other company or product name used on this site belongs to its owner and is used only to describe or compare pricing models. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or partnership with Hairdressers.io.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost bookings, and our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will email customers about material changes before they take effect.
