What it does for the salon
Salon booking software that works on both sides of the chair
Get booked while you're cutting
Most booking intent happens after you close: at night, at the weekend, from a phone. A booking page with your real availability turns that into appointments instead of a voicemail you return tomorrow, by which time they booked somewhere else.
New clients find you
A listing on the city directory page for your area is included in every plan, at no extra cost and with no fee on the bookings it produces.
Keep the whole ticket
A flat monthly fee and 0% commission on every booking, forever. The hundredth booking costs exactly what the first one did.
Fewer no-shows
A deposit taken at booking and an automatic reminder sequence, with a cancellation policy you set and clients see before they confirm. The two-day reminder is the one that matters, because there is still time to resell the slot.
The full list is on the salon management software page, and the calendar side is covered in detail under salon scheduling software.
How it works
Live the same day you set it up
The work is your service list and your stylists' hours. Everything the client sees is generated from those.

Flat fee against commission
The difference is not the features. It is what happens when you get busier.
Two pricing models dominate this category. This compares the models, not any particular company, and the only hard number here is our own.
If you double your bookings
- Hairdressers.io
- Your bill does not change
- Platforms that take a cut
- A share of every new-client booking, so the cost rises with you
A client the directory introduced
- Hairdressers.io
- Charged nothing, on the first visit and the fiftieth
- Platforms that take a cut
- Commonly charged on every booking they ever make
Adding a stylist
- Hairdressers.io
- $0 inside your plan band
- Platforms that take a cut
- Commonly billed per staff member
The directory listing itself
- Hairdressers.io
- Included in every plan
- Platforms that take a cut
- Usually the thing the commission pays for
A quiet month
- Hairdressers.io
- The same flat fee, which is the trade-off
- Platforms that take a cut
- You pay less, but you cannot forecast the year
Your client list
- Hairdressers.io
- Yours, exportable to a spreadsheet any time
- Platforms that take a cut
- Varies by platform, and worth checking before you commit
We do not publish other companies' prices or commission rates here. They change, and a wrong number would be a false statement about a real business. Check their own pricing pages and compare the model.

0% commission on bookings, on every plan
Including the clients your city directory listing sends you. There is no per-booking fee anywhere in this product.
These are our plans. Pricing is flat per salon, so it does not change when you get busier. Chair, Salon and Studio are paid by card and your page goes live right after payment. Group starts with a conversation, because chains price on locations and terms. There is no free tier because the live demo is the free taste.
For owners and groups
Do the arithmetic in your head
Twenty new clients a month at an $85 ticket is $1,700 of new revenue. On a platform that takes a cut of every new-client booking, a slice of that leaves every month, forever. Here it is $89 flat, and the hundredth booking costs exactly the same as the first.
That is the whole argument. The only number in it we control is our own price, which is why it is the only one we quote.
Running more than one location
- Consolidated reporting across every location in one view
- Roles and permissions so a manager sees their site only
- One invoice for the group, with PO billing on Group plans
- SSO with SAML, and a named onboarding contact
- Data export and deletion on request, and an uptime SLA
Questions
The things salons ask first
More of them, answered at length, on the salon booking system FAQ.
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
No. 0% commission on every booking, on every plan, including clients who find you through the city directory. That is the whole point of the product: the price you pay in your busiest month is the price you pay in your quietest one.
How much does it cost?
A flat monthly fee based on salon size, starting at $39 a month for a single chair and $89 for an independent salon of up to eight stylists. There is no commission and no per-booking fee. Full detail is on the pricing page.
Will you charge me per stylist?
No. Each plan covers a band of stylists at one flat price, so adding a stylist inside your band does not change your bill. You only move up when you outgrow the band.
Who owns my client list?
You do. Your clients, their contact details, their appointment history and your service list are yours. Export the whole thing to a spreadsheet at any time, including on the day you decide to leave.
How do new clients actually find me?
Your salon gets a listing on the city directory page for your area, included in every plan. Someone searching for salons in your city sees your services, your price band and your real open times, and books straight from the listing.
Can I move my existing bookings over?
Yes. You can import your services, your stylists and your upcoming appointments during setup, so you are not asking clients to rebook anything they have already booked.
