Is there an alternative to Booksy without the boost fee?

Yes, and it is the specific thing this product is built around. New-client discovery here is a directory listing included in the subscription rather than a percentage charged on the bookings it produces, so the cost of being found does not rise as being found starts working.

Will I lose my Booksy reviews if I switch?

Yes. Reviews stay with the platform that collected them, which is true of every marketplace and not specific to Booksy. The practical answer is to build reviews somewhere you control, usually your map listing, so that the next platform change costs you nothing.

Can clients still book me on my own link?

Yes. Your booking page lives on its own link that you can put in an Instagram bio, a text message or a business card, and it is the same page a client reaches from your directory listing, so there is one calendar and one thing to keep updated.

Do I have to take card payments through you?

No. Deposits and card payments are available, but the price of the software does not depend on how you take money, so if you already have a terminal you like, keep it.
